GAFFNEY HOUSING AUTHORITY
GAFFNEY, SOUTH CAROLINA
Sealed proposals will be received by the GAFFNEY HOUSING AUTHORITY for SC 17-501-24 until 4:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2026, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment entering into the Modernization of Project SC 17-1. The scope of work will consist of repairs and modernization of the existing project and include the following items:
- Replace existing sanitary sewer main pipe and manholes; replace collector piping and provide new cleanouts; replace existing cleanouts at each apartment; replace water service branch piping, water valves, and valve boxes.
- All other work is shown on plans, in the specifications, and as required by codes.
A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for 2:00 P.M., WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Gaffney Housing Authority Administration Office, located at 125 Beltline Road, Gaffney, SC 29341. A site visit will follow the meeting.
Contractors may access the site at any time, but are asked to notify the Owner / schedule their visits ahead of time. Contractors shall contact Adrian Jones, Maintenance Director, at (864) 492-5791.

All contractors are hereby notified that they must have a proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades, whether or not Federal Funding is involved.
Contractors will be responsible for ensuring that economic opportunities, to the greatest extent feasible, follow Section 3 Requirements 24 CFR Part 135.1 and Section 3 Clause 24 CFR Part 135.38.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
