Granard Courts Community Planting Project

Date Posted: 05/14/2026
Category: Resident Events

The Gaffney Housing Authority extends our heartfelt thanks to Live Healthy Cherokee and every volunteer who helped bring Granard's Garden to life. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm turned a simple planting day into a powerful reminder of what our community can accomplish when we work side by side.

Granard's Garden is designed to be a living, evolving space. As the plants mature, the community will harvest not only vegetables but also the relationships formed in the time spent together planting. Our hope is that this garden becomes a model - a seedbed for future projects that blend health, education, and community pride. And perhaps most importantly, it reminds us that growth doesn't happen alone. It happens together, one seedling at a time.
